Overall:
Abu Dhabi is more cosmopolitan than Bahrain, but it's no Dubai.
Activities:
Decent shopping, the pool and gym at the Gulf Hotel are both nice. They've got movies...
Challenge:
Taxis are cheap and plentiful (and they use the meters, unlike Bahrain). Easy to get around and there's shopping.
Food:
Not great food selections. We had room service...lots of fast food, but we didn't try too hard to find good eats.
Lodging:
Hotel has good ammenities, but the rooms are a little blah...Bob's "home away from home" on trips.
Fun:
Like shopping?
