Belisimo. Good stuff.
Activities:

I mean, you think museums and frescoes, but what about the mountains!! The Dolomites are fantastic, as is Venice.

Challenge:

Learn a little Italian and it'll go a long way...or learn to pantomime well.

Food:

Eat your weight in Gelato and pizza! How do you resist?

Lodging:

Spendy spendy, particularly in Venice. We didn’t stay in Venice proper, but would next time. Mountain chalets in Madonna are pricy, but worth it for the views.

Fun:

Really fun hiking in the via feratta. Fun driving through towns and walking the canals of Venice. History and fun.
