Bob and Amy visit:
ARCHES NATIONAL PARK
and
MOAB, UTAH
The first day we were going to fly into Grand Junction, which is the closest airport (at 150 miles away) to Moab, UT...... but we weren't able to get there
(sound familiar??)
Since our flight was cancelled and with no hope of getting to GJT until much later that day,
we scurried off to Montrose, Colorado, a town famous for... um.... easy living.

Not having any idea of how we would get to were we were going, much less if they even had a rental
car facility there, but they did!! Would you belive that we got THE LAST rental car in Montrose? Janice, the delightful
National rental car agent, supplied us with a luxurious Daewoo® Leganza (a sweet ride).
Knowing that we had a few hours to kill in our new Daewoo®, we stopped in Grand Junction
(at the advice of Janice, who told us the drive direct from Montrose was pretty, but long and we should high-tail
it to Moab) to pick up some grub at the local market. Lucky for us, they were celebrating their 76th year of business
with FREE ROOT BEER FLOATS! Niiiice. So, we picked up some Cliff bars and other hardcore biking ammunition and
headed to the BK across the street.

Did you know Bob is the long-lost 6th member of the Backstreet Boys??? They cropped him off the
fry box at Burger King.
Bob: "I can't comment any further due to a pending lawsuit. Thanks."
