Overall:

It's beautiful, expensive, but a tad weird--fjords, mid-day rave parties in Oslo, hot dogs, and slow driving.
Activities:

Outstanding! You name the adventure sport, they've got it. From hiking to skiing, biking to bobsledding, and kayaking in-between, it's an adventure sport paradise, and perfect for us.

Challenge:

The driving sucks, very slow, very winding, tons of tunnels. No language problems, everyone's English is great. Norwegian is funky.

Food:

Brutal! C'mon, whale and reindeer? Pickled fish? Hot dogs and party dressing? Eeesh.

Lodging:

Problematic finding nice places at nice prices. Big spans of road with no hotels. We even got rejected from a gas station hotel...they have infrastructure issues.

Fun:

Great fun if you're more excited about being outside in nature than staying in cushy rooms with gourmet meals. Perfect for the outdoors-person. We dug it.
