Overall:

A lovely little island of a country. Lush plant life, nice mountains and beaches (we didn't see).
Activities:

Nice hiking inland, mingling with the people, and riding the death busses for a rush.

Challenge:

Culturally demanding, yet friendly. Take the public bus for some cultural integration. It's like "India Lite".

Food:

Simple and good curries. Eat the local stuff. Nice fruit juices.

Lodging:

The Ambiante lodge in Ella is quaint and has a great view. The eco-lodge down the road ain’t all that.

Fun:

It’s a fun place—tropical beaches and mountains all wrapped up on the island. Plenty to see. Driving is maniacal.
